About Us

 

I left secondary school teaching in July 2014, after a ten year career teaching Drama and Music from year 7 to GCSE level.

Mini Stars is now my focus and I love teaching the little ones and seeing their enjoyment and enthusiasm for all things music, movement and drama. 

 

Mini Stars is all about fun, music and movement. Its about helping to develop a childs confidence and self esteem in an active, fun and relaxed way. Sessions also help to develop a childs communication skills and sense of independence. In sessions, songs have been specifically written for the enjoyment and learning of the children and themes are followed on a weekly basis. 

Sessions consist of different activities ranging from playing percussion instruments, action songs, role-play, parachute fun, movement with ribbons, bubbles and singing. Children enjoy the range of activities and resources.
